Lidl On The Road A Summer Roadshow

The Lidl marketing team asked our team to create an interactive, multi-functional summer festival activation to showcase Lidl’s wine and seasonal food range. 

We designed and built a bespoke demo kitchen as the focal point of an interactive ‘on the road’ activation where consumers could participate in captivating live cookery demo’s and educational wine tasting experiences.

Guests could see, smell, and taste the products in action, creating a multi-sensory experience that fostered deeper connections.

Incorporating a demo kitchen into the ‘Lidl on the Road’ summer tour was a game-changer in terms of challenging consumer perceptions of the brand.

The live cookery demo’s using the latest summer produce combined with informative wine tasting sessions transformed passive observers into active participants.

 

The activation was brought to life in a fully branded 9m x 12m marquee, branded walls and vinyl flooring. The demo kitchen took centre stage and a circular seating arrangement allowed participants to watch the demo’s whilst sampling food and drink.

The Lidl team recognised that when people can interact with your product — whether it’s learning how to get the most out of a chicken or tasting a new wine – they are more likely to remember and appreciate it, taking the activation across numerous summer events and festivals lead to an incredibly successful summer marketing campaign.

New Product Launch Kallo Squeezy Stock

Kallø’s mission is to make healthy and natural eating delicious and effortless through their latest Organic Stock Pastes. They tasked our team to create a cookery school roadshow which could be taken to various in-door events to showcase their ‘innovative, game-changing’ new squeeze stock range.

 

Our in-house Chef designed a number of recipes using the stock paste range which we brought to life with a stunning, bright cooking activation.

The design included five workstations enabling eight participants to cook a choice of delicious dishes alongside our Chef.

The activation included a full back prep kitchen area and support team who prepped the ingredients, set up and cleaned down the activation for each cook-a-long session.

We also supplied two brand Kallø Brand Ambassadors throughout the live events to support brand awareness, sampling and drive on-site and post event sales.

Launching the new squeezy stock range through live, interactive hands on cookery experiences enabled the Kallø team to gain immediate consumer feedback on the product whilst simultaneously generating a wealth of social media content.

James Martin Gin Memorable Gin Tasting Experiences

The James Martin Gin Team asked us to create a premium look high impact modular build brand activation set which could be installed in greenfield festival sites as well as in-door venues in less than 1 hour!

Our team designed a ‘London Bar’ backdrop 3D set with lighting and decorative accessories, which took centre stage in any setting. The stunning 8m backdrop featured product placement areas, plus large branding areas.

The set could be installed in conference style /exhibition venues or in a marquee for outdoor settings. We provided all of the furniture and equipment for the James Martin Gin Team to literally just arrive onsite and undertake the gin masterclass sessions.

The activation created a unique setting where participants participated in an educational, entertaining gin masterclass providing a memorable experience for attendees. Our team organised for James Martin to attend some of the events where the activation was promoted. 

P&O Cruises Food Heroes Bringing Foodie Experiences to Life

The P&O  Food Heroes activities are a central feature of P&O Cruise Holidays and their Events Team challenged us to integrate a Demo Kitchen into their existing Exhibition Stand. 

P&O work with the brightest lights of the culinary scene, their Food Heroes, to bring their guests innovative, delicious menus and exclusive foodie experiences across their fleet of ships.

Their vision was to bring these unique experiences to potential new customers as part of their live event marketing campaign. Consumers were treated to cookery demonstrations by Marco Pierre White, wine pairing sessions and gin masterclasses.

We installed one of our Branded Kitchens into an existing set. The Kitchen measures 3m width by 1m depth, plus a 3m2 stage area.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has an integrated fridge with freezer box, oven and 5 ring induction hob. We also built a full audio and visual setup, plus a back prep kitchen into the existing design. Our live event team also provided on-site Home Economist support for the Chefs & Masterclass Hosts.
